After becoming an official town, Woodland Park became an important business center for the surrounding areas and primary business of saw milling.  Many logs were cut and sold in Woodland Park for railroad ties and braces that were sold for the gold mines of Victor and Cripple Creek.
 
Today, Woodland Park continues to flourish with wonderful people and a great economy.
 
Education in Woodland Park
